Vox Pops International have announced their annual conference will be taking place at the British Film Institute on London’s Southbank. London, 19th April 2012 , 1:30 pm – 4:30pm

Building on the success of last year’s conference they will, this year, be concentrating on how toMaximise and Communicate Research Insights through Video.
With over a hundred clients set to attend, the speakers will be discussing how companies are increasingly looking to share video research through their organisation.
The afternoon’s proceedings will get under way with a reception for all attendees to meet and greet one another before John Earnshaw, VPI’s Managing Director, will introduce the conference and discuss their vision, their experience and present their showreel.
Diane Earnshaw, Company Founder, will then discuss some exciting findings fromtheir recent White Paper. The survey was aimed at trying to discover out how 100 companiesshare insight and how they engage with their ‘audience’.
The findings revealed that people felt market research and insight could be used in a far greater capacity throughout their organisations than at present.
“84% of the sample believe that using video as a deliverable keeps people engaged; makes research memorable (78%); and is exciting (77%); and easy to digest (62%). Other participants said they thought video can be used by many departments.”
Sarah Jousiffe, Head of Customer Closeness at BskyB, will then be delivering a presentation on how they’ve begun to encorporatea more creative element to their videos after having started out with just classic vox pops.
Second guest speaker, Roy Hammond, Senior Insight Manager at Barclays, will then provide an additional presentation explaining how the use of video has now gone viral and how people are now venturing creatively into animations.
Vox Pops Introduction will also be using this opportunity to introduce their brand new creative unit, Inspire. A dynamic new enterprise aimed at producing communication films that are both creative and memorable.
The conference will finish with a Q&A session where attendees have the opportunity to ask questions about any of the afternoon’s subjects.
