Telefónica, Leo Burnett/Arc and Agency Space were crowned the big winners at last night’s annual IPM Awards, taking home the trophies for Brand Owner of the Year, Agency of the Year and the coveted Grand Prix Award respectively.
This year’s winners, which were announced at the IPM’s black-tie Awards Gala on Tuesday 14th June at London Hilton (Park Lane), showcased and celebrated the very best in creativity and effectiveness in the promotional marketing industry. The Awards celebrate over 30 categories covering Telefónica, Leo Burnett/Arc and Agency Space were crowned the big winners
With an opening address from Lord Guy Black of Brentwood, President of the IPM, the evening included creative highlights from the past year in promotional marketing.
Telefonica were awarded Brand Owner of the Year, after collecting a series of awards during the night, along with the much celebrated Agency Space, who proudly took home the Grand Prix Award for Gala Coral’s campaign, #CheltenHAM after collecting an armful of accolades for the campaign during the night.
Second time Agency of the Year winners, Leo Burnett/Arc were presented their Award by Greg Mulholland MP who started his professional life in marketing agencies BD Network and The Marketing Store.
During the evening, brands and agencies celebrated success with multiple wins for Savvy, picking up five awards across Pepsi, Warburtons, Morrisons, Britvic and Grolsch. Other multi-award winners in the room included ID, who picked up two Gold Awards for Unilever brands Cornetto and Comfort along with another three awards for the trophy cabinet.
Other notable winners from the evening were P&MM – Most Effective Incentive Programme (Gold) for Peugeot’s Sales Guild; Haygarth – Use of Innovation (Gold) for Sony’s Everyday Extraordinary campaign; and whynot! who took home Consumer Product – Food (Gold) for Anchor’s ‘Baking Kits for Schools’ campaign.
