Klout just launched brand pages, which they are calling Brand Squads! The popular start up, which measures influence on Twitter, Google, LinkedIn and Foursquare, has now rolled out Brand Squads in partnership with Red Bull. According to Mashable, each Brand Squad will feature the brand’s logo, a list of the top 10 and top 100 influencers about the brand, an activity stream and any brand-specific deals offered through Klout’s Perks platform. Klout users are scored from 0-100 with regards to their influence online. In the past, you may have noticed that companies engaged with their consumers via brand pages on Facebook, Twitter and Google+.
“The bottom line is that we are creating a place where influencers can be recognized and have an impact on brands,” Klout spokeswoman Lynn Fox told Mashable. I am a huge fan of Klout and loved working with them during the Get More Gilt for Klout initiative! I think that Klout brand pages and the Brand Squads are a great way for a company to measure their brand’s influence with consumers. Another excellent resource to help build successful brands!
