Vintage Inns has called on PR and marketing agency Seal to help make 2012 a truly ‘Vintage Summer’ for the upmarket country pub and restaurant chain.
It is hoping its traditional offering of real ale, hearty food and beautifully kept beer gardens will strike a chord with consumers’ affection for Britishness in a year that sees the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and the Olympics.
Vintage Inn pubs are known for their welcoming atmosphere and are often set in stunning locations, in picturesque villages or rolling countryside.
The Mitchells & Butlers brand has almost 200 pubs, from Plymouth in the South West to Inverness in Scotland.
Seal’s campaign will showcase ‘the best of Britain’ around the pub locations, as well as the pubs themselves, highlighting everything from the ‘chocolate box beautiful’ to the quirky.Clair O’Neill, Vintage Inns head of brand marketing, said: “We were impressed not only by Seal’s experience in the pub industry but also by the breadth of their creative ideas and how they can meld social, online and traditional media into a cohesive PR and marketing campaign that will raise awareness and drive footfall, all in measurable ways.”
