Underwired, the specialist digital strategy and eCRM agency, has appointed Nick Elsom as Client Services Director.
Elsom has been brought into Underwired to support the agency’s transition to a broader remit and more integrated approach following the recently completed MBO. www.underwired.com.
With over 20 years experience in the industry, Elsom has held Director level roles at some of the UK’s leading agencies including Meteorite and Triangle, where he helped to create award-winning campaigns for major brands such as Lloyds TSB, Safeway and Institute of Directors. More recently he has worked with brands including Sony, Unilever, Royal Mail and Lexmark.
Speaking of the appointment, Underwired’s Managing Director Felix Velarde commented, “This is the second senior appointment we have made since the MBO at the end of March [when Underwired hired former Hackett and Links of London MD Gareth Morris]. Nick brings a wealth of industry expertise that will help us to deliver our ambitious expansion plans this year.
“We have already launched a new strategic offering around contextualising Social CRM, and now the senior team is almost complete we are in a position to invest heavily in new areas of the business over the next 12 months.”
