MBA cleans up personal injury’s act with Spencers Solicitors

Today, leading integrated communications agency MBA launches Spencers Solicitors into new channels with a new disruptive digital ad campaign. MBA has developed a creative platform that highlights the unethical practice of insurance companies selling injuries to the highest bidder through digital ambient ads and a linked microsite (www.injuryauction.co.uk).

MBA’s campaign positions the specialist Personal Injury Solicitors as the champion of the genuine personal injury claim through a microsite hosting a game in which the player tries to disrupt an auction where solicitors are bidding for injury details. The campaign will run for a month, with the transvision creative appearing in London train stations throughout this week. Display ads are also going out on UK-based websites, which will target professionals and potential claimants.

In order to disrupt the market further, MBA will be putting the campaign on eBay, pretending to be an insurance firm selling an injured person’s case, in order to showcase the auction practice.

Paul Munce, Managing Partner of MBA, said:

“Spencers Solicitors tasked MBA with developing a campaign platform that brings to light the unethical nature of many insurance companies in dealing with individual claims and selling claims data.  We have executed a creative strategy that does just that in order to position the brand as the ‘go-to’ for people that put claimant’s interests at the core. This campaign aims to create buzz and in doing so, help to clear up the negative reputation of the area of personal injury.”
