The Stockport-based SEO company has signed up 12 legal firms over the last year, increasing its work in the sector considerably compared to the same period in 2010/11. The boom in business has generated over £76,000 in revenue from the sector, with legal accounts now making up almost 10 per cent of SEONext’s total turnover.

SEONext will now provide web marketing solutions for a number of high profile legal practices. Recent appointments include Barings Solicitors, CM Solicitors and Fastrak Law.

Mark Blackhurst, director at SEONext and a qualified lawyer, commented: “It’s good to see that firms are recognising the need to invest in digital marketing. In the current economic climate, we’ve noticed more and more companies in the legal sector looking to gain a competitive advantage by optimising their search engine rankings.”

“Following changes in the legal sector, including the ‘Tesco law’ revolution and the regulation of claims management companies, firms are becoming more savvy to the benefits of maximising their online profile.”

Tom Jarvis, head of motoring law at CM Solicitors, said: “In the past, we’ve made efforts to improve our organic rankings with other SEO companies, with little or no success. SEONext conducted a thorough review of the market, tailored a campaign to suit our needs and provided realistic goals with sensible time estimates. Within six months we were ranked on page one of Google for the majority of our search terms, which I view as a staggering success.”

SEONext currently provides search engine optimisation services to over 150 businesses across the country. Founded in 2009, the company is one of the UK’s leading SEO providers, working across a wide range of sectors, including travel, retail, dental and cosmetic surgery.
