Power and Girls: Our Boris’s priorities uncovered

Boris Johnson has claimed people flock to the capital because there are more pretty girls.

The politician said the “number one” reason that cities are popular is: “There are a greater range of girls at the bar, of reproductive choice.”

He added: “Above all, talented people seek cities for fame. They can’t get famous in the f****** village.”

He admitted to New York magazine that fame is “what’s driving me. That’s the awful fact”.

Boris also joked he wants to be the “supreme power in England” so he can build an airport on “Boris Island”.

The mag — one of America’s trendiest — tips him as the front-runner to replace David Cameron as Tory leader “and perhaps Prime Minister”.
