In early 2011 Speedo approached Vox Pops International to produce a creative and dynamic film to kick off their annual conference and inspire and excite the audience. With the London 2012 Olympic opening ceremony this Friday, the film is particularly resonant as it traces the history of competitive swimming and how Speedo has developed and transformed swimwear, while inspiring generations of people to swim.

The Speedo video is one of Vox Pop International’s Inspire projects. Inspire aims to push the boundaries of insight communication through high-end, innovative videos, with high production values, creativity, powerful animation and multimedia deliverables. By using high-definition cameras, broadcast microphones, lights, and an in-house edit suite, the team of experienced camera people and editors specialise in three key areas:
Filming and Editing: In-house editors and edit suites with full video production capabilities. Projects include: mood videos, promos, web videos, adverts, showreels, testimonials and events.
Animation and Graphics: Motion graphics and animations to enhance corporate videos and communicate messages within an organisation.
Time-Lapse Videos: Videos that capture a process or place over a period of time and can be used for impressive scene-setters and campaigns.
The results of a recent survey conducted by VPI with over 100 companies illustrated the growing demand for not only video insight but more importantly, creativity. In addition to video becoming a highly desirable media tool for marketers, results showed that the quality of the video content was of equally high importance when communicating insight.
Vox Pops International’s Co-Director & Head of Projects, Helen King had this to say: “Inspire is the natural evolution of VPI, it is the dynamic and exciting side to our output. We believe that videos can be exciting and engaging as well as informative.”
