BinWeevils.com, the BAFTA winning virtual entertainment and education world for 6-12 year olds, has launched a trading card game from Panini, called ‘Mulch Mayhem’.
The 225 card collection features 80 BinWeevils characters who compete on Mulch, Star-Rating and Mayhem levels. The collection also contains super foil, glitter and Bin Bio cards.
There is also one of 25 secret code cards in every pack, which kids can use to redeem exclusive items within the BinWeevils.com virtual world. As part of the launch of the Mulch Mayhem trading cards, there is an exclusiveparty area that any BinWeevil can enter by finding hidden bubbles, scatteredthroughout the Binscape.
“It’s exciting that we’re creating an offline playground experience for the kids that love BinWeevils,” commented Amelia Johnson, co-founder of BinWeevils.com. “The online world is clearly entertaining, but we also want it to be educational and connect with children beyond an online experience. This will take BinWeevils into playgrounds and the home, where kids can put intopractice what they’ve learned through their Bin Weevil.”
The Mulch Mayhem trading cards are available from all good newsagents and stockists throughout the country. One packet of trading cards has an RRP of 75p.
ABOUT BIN WEEVILS
BinWeevils.com creates a unique virtual platform where kids are entertained and educated through an engaging and interactive digital experience. Aimed at 6 to 12 year olds, children can create their own avatar (‘BinWeevil’) and then explore the online world, socialise with other BinWeevils, play games, work on puzzles and quizzes, watch top rated Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network TV shows, read books in the virtual library, publish their own magazine and even create their very own business.
In November 2011, Bin Weevils won the BAFTA Kids’ Vote award for their favourite website, beating Moshi Monsters, Disney and GirlsGoGames.
