Bell Pottinger Private, is pleased to announce the promotion of Phoebe Vela to Group Director of Communications and the appointment of Daniel Thöle as Director of the Mining Team of Pelham Bell Pottinger.
Daniel Thöle joins Pelham Bell Pottinger from Brunswick where he worked as a Director in the Energy and Resources practice, focusing on mining clients. His experience as a senior communications advisor included working with FTSE100 and leading South African companies across all sectors in disciplines including stakeholder engagement, mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, crisis communications and media handling. Prior to this, Daniel was Companies Editor of Business Day, South Africa’s largest financial daily, and worked as a journalist at Mineweb in Johannesburg.
He will work in Pelham’s mining team, alongside Founding Director Charles Vivian and Associate Director Lorna Spears.
