The Federation of Small Businesses’ North Surrey Branch is proud to announce its biggest event yet.
Inter-Networking Event
Sponsored by Lloyds TSB Commercial and Imber Court Conference Centre, we would like to invite businesses to join us for Inter-Networking on Tuesday 2nd October 2012 between 3pm and 9pm at Imber Court, Ember Lane, East Molesey, KT8 0BT.The event will feature a networking hall with stands available, a keynote speaker, Nigel Botterill of the Entrepreneurs’ Circle and a presentation from Mark Pearson, the CEO of Surrey Connects with others still to be confirmed. David Hodge, leader of Surrey County Council, is hoping to join us to talk about contracts for small businesses in Surrey and there will be opportunities for smaller groups to meet the Surrey Procurement Officer to find out about these contracts, and one-to-one discussions with representatives from Lloyds TSB.
Ian Noble, senior manager for Lloyds TSB Commercial in Kingston-upon-Thames, said: “Lloyds TSB Commercial is proud to sponsor the North Surrey Federation of Small Businesses’ Inter-networking event on 2nd. October. Small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) are the lifeblood of our local business economy and in recent times, in light of the double dip recession, managing an SME can be a particularly challenging proposition.
A tough market
We know it’s a tough market at the moment and that many SME owners are working incredibly hard. At Lloyds TSB Commercial, we want to recognise that hard work and to provide businesses with the opportunity to network.
“There are lots of successful businesses in Kingston and the surrounding area that add a great deal to the local economy and I would encourage business owners to take the opportunity to attend this event. And if you take a display stand, it’s a great way to showcase your business.”
We shall be joined by members of Surrey Chamber of Commerce, BNI, Athena Network, Business4U plus all other networking groups are invited to book in for this rare chance to Inter Network with other Surrey businesses.
The organisers are currently talking to other potential sponsors and stand space is going fast so if you would like to book, please contact the FSB Regional Office on 01403 734257 or e-mail Sue Towner, Branch Chairman on sue@jackson-scott.co.uk – stands are £50 plus VAT but only until the end of August when, if there are any spaces left, the charge will be £75 plus VAT.
