John Owen writes … The 2012 Effective Mobile Marketing Awards looks set to be the greatest night on the mobile calendar.
We’ve received over 200 entries, from some of the world’s biggest brands, including Barclays, Mercedez Benz, Facebook, The Guardian, Sky News Arabia, London Eye, Swiss Airlines, Starbucks, Nikon, Nokia, BHS, BodyShop, VW, La Redoute, Butlins, Comet, Hotels.com, Easyjet, McDonalds, Samsung, Macmillan Cancer Relief, Vodafone, British Gas, Virgin Atlantic, Pizza Hut, Nectar, Hyundai, O2, Barclays Bikes, and many more.
That’s a big increase on the 150 entries we saw last year – credit to the increased investment and effectiveness achieved in mobile marketing, and how fast the industry is moving.
The shortlist will be announced mid-September and the winners celebrated at the London Film Museum on the 29 November 2012.
The event is strictly limited to 270 people, and is filling fast. We recommend securing your seats at either £250.00 per person or £2,050.00 for a table of 10. This includes a three course dinner, leading entertainment and unlimited drinks for the evening.
