BOTTLE teams up for growth

BOTTLE, the PR agency rooted in its goal to make PR accountable, through excellence, today announces its new structure and team changes, to complement the agency’s growth and future aspirations.

2012 has been a phenomenal year for BOTTLE. Its revenues are up 21.7% due to existing client retention and growth, as well as amazing new consumer client wins like Honda, Organix and Damco and high-profile B2B wins with the likes of the RES Group, Achilles and Orega. In response to this growth, BOTTLE is moving from the matrix model of management to a team-based structure – with new dedicated and separate consumer and B2B teams.

The consumer team will be led by Kate Gibson, a new recruit to BOTTLE. Kate was hired for her exceptional consumer expertise, which she accrued from her time at Clarion Communications and The Red Consultancy, developing brand building campaigns for high-profile clients such as McDonald’s, Persil, Britvic, Barcardi, John Lewis Partnership, and Vue Entertainment. The B2B team will be led by Johanna Cassells, who has worked at BOTTLE for the last two years as a Board Director, leading a number of BOTTLE’s corporate and B2B accounts.

Other team changes include the promotion of Carole Scott from Director to Client Services Director. Carole’s role will entail overall management of the consumer and B2B teams, as well as creating and driving new services throughout the agency to ensure that BOTTLE lives and breathes its mantra of making PR accountable, through excellence. Other promotions include the appointment of Claire Jones as Associate Director within the B2B team, from Senior PR Consultant.

Claire Cairns, CEO of BOTTLE, comments: “2012 has been a year of growth and change for BOTTLE. Moving to a team-based structure complements our expansion, as it enables us to develop and foster specialisms – ensuring that we are building best-in-breed clusters of expertise. We are in a period of rapid growth and are actually planning an office move to accommodate all of our new joiners. Our next ambition is to hit the milestone of becoming one of the UK’s Top 50 agencies, and we know this new team approach will ensure that we continue on our upward trajectory to reach this goal.”
