Samsung Electronics UK today announces it has teamed up with the British Fashion Council (BFC) to become the Official Technology Partner for the Exhibition at London Fashion Week (LFW) from Friday 14th – Tuesday 18th September 2012, and Vodafone London Fashion Weekend which will be held from Thursday 20th – Sunday 23rd September. In addition, Samsung will the Technology Partner for designer Matthew Williamson’s show at London Fashion Week on Sunday September 16th.
Samsung’s premium mobile devices – including the Galaxy Note 10.1 and Galaxy S III – will be integrated throughout the showcase, used by key London Fashion Week staff on-site and at the concierge desks, as well as being made available for use in the press lounges and information points. Samsung is also working with LFW to create a new dedicated rest and resource destination for all UK and international buyers, equipped with the new Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 devices pre-loaded with floor plans, designer listings and sales contacts.
Thanks to its Official Partnership status, Samsung will be entitled to brand integration into both London Fashion Week and Vodafone London Fashion Weekend, including on-site and online branding and signage; advertising and PR rights including the use of imagery across digital and POS materials; branding on marketing materials; gifting opportunities; presence on social media sites and an allocation of tickets.

These latest collaborations continue to showcase the increasing fusion of fashion and technology and follows Samsung’s previous involvement with Vogue Fashion’s Night Out and men’s tailor Spencer Hart.
