Bodyform treat disillusioned Facebook user with funny video response
The company created a fictional CEO who apologized to the poster, Richard Neill, after reading his rant against the company’s “deceptive” sanitary napkin commercials.
“We are always grateful for input from our users, but your comment was particularly poignant,” the company wrote in the video’s description. “If Facebook had a ‘love’ button, we’d have clicked it. But it doesn’t. So we’ve made you a video instead.”

The faux CEO, Caroline Williams, was ironically apologetic. “We lied to you, Richard. And I want to say sorry…. in the past, we tried to be more honest with our approach.”
The original post on Bodyform’s page now has over 80,000 likes. In the note, Neill wrote about how he felt wronged because Bodyform depicted women having a wonderful time during their periods. He was extremely let down when he found out that menstruating isn’t as wonderful as the commercials made it seem.
