Forster has appointed Kat Knight to take on the role of digital account handler, as the creative and digital team continues to expand.
Knight was previously the lead digital account manager at design and branding agency Conran Design Group where she was responsible for the successful delivery of all key digital projects for Conran’s high-profile corporate client base. During her time at Conran she launched annual reporting and accounts websites for a roll call of FTSE-100 companies including Rolls Royce, Balfour Beatty and Tate & Lyle, and was responsible for project-managing the PLC website redesign and relaunch for iconic fashion brand Burberry.
Prior to joining Conran, Knight worked at content and marketing agency BHP Information Solutions for nine years. She held a number of positions within the organisation including responsibility for managing BHP’s project management team and expanding the company’s digital output as well as working on key accounts including HSBC and Royal Mail.
An online toolkit
She will be working across Forster’s portfolio of clients and her appointment is the latest example of Forster’s commitment towards developing its already successful digital output. Recent digital campaign launches include an online toolkit for Campaign to End Loneliness and The Electrical Safety Council’s first Facebook app.
Gillian Daines, Forster Communications, commented: “Kat brings with her a wealth of valuable experience that will help drive the next wave of creative digital projects from Forster Communications. Increasingly our clients need smart creative thinking that delivers behaviour and attitude change, though online and offline campaigns. Kat will be instrumental in driving our digital projects.”
Forster is also looking to expand its associate network of digital specialists, particularly content developers for social media and digital planners.
