MV Sports launches its first line of Batman licensed wheeled toys at London Toy Fair 2013

Warner Bros. Consumer Products UK have announced that MV Sports is launching its first line of Batman licensed wheeled toys at London Toy Fair 2013.

The stand out product in the outdoor play range is a child’s life size Batmobile car. In contrast to the huge sum the original 1960s Batmobile fetched at auction recently, MV’s car is priced £149.99 and will launch alongside a Batman bike (£119.99) this Autumn/Winter in time for Christmas.

The collection is aimed at children aged 5+ and also includes a scooter (£19.99), skateboard and safety helmet (both £14.99), which are set to hit retail from Easter 2013.

Paul Bufton, General Manager, Warner Bros. Consumer Products UK says, “MV Sports has developed a fantastic range that truly reflects Batman’s reputation as one of the world’s coolest super heroes. The Batmobile will be a dream come true for kids who want to make believe they’re the caped crusader and it’s certain to be on every boy’s wish list this Christmas!”

Phil Ratcliffe, Sales and Marketing Director for MV Sports comments, “We really had fun designing the Batman range and the reaction from retailers so far has been incredibly positive. The Batmobile in particular is generating a lot of buzz and we’ve received interest from a number of major retailers.”
