Midnight has been appointed to support Arundel Castle in delivering its media relations campaign, including a comprehensive PR strategy aimed at raising awareness of the Castle & Gardens on a national and international level with an audience of all ages.
Bryan McDonald, Castle Manager, commented: “Midnight delivered an inspiring presentation and has an impressive track record of delivering successful campaigns for leisure and tourism clients similar to ourselves. We have already been impressed with Midnight’s swift understanding of our brief and creative approach and are confident the team will deliver success in raising awareness of the Castle across the UK and beyond.”
Karoline Peach, Account Director for Midnight Communications added: “We are delighted to be starting 2013 with the addition of Arundel Castle to our client portfolio. The castle offers a wealth of history and hours of entertainment for visitors from the unique Roman Catholic Fitzalan Chapel to Queen Victoria’s bedroom, stunning formal gardens and childrens’ favourite, the Motte and Keep.
“Our aim with this new campaign is to bring Arundel Castle’s fantastic offering to life, raising awareness of its rich history and ensuring it achieves the recognition it deserves as a must see for anyone interested in British history or simply a great day out!”
Steeped in 1,000 years of history, Arundel Castle offers a full day out with guided and free-flow tours of the finely preserved castle rooms including the Baron’s Hall, Chapel, Library and bedrooms alongside the opportunity to ascend the Norman Motte and Keep and enjoy The Collector Earl’s Garden that was opened by HRH The Prince of Wales in 2008.
The castle offers an action packed calendar of historical events throughout the year from Jousting and Medieval Tournaments to Shakespeare plays in The Collector Earl’s Garden as part of the annual Arundel Festival. The castle will be open to visitors from 29 March to 3 November 2013, Tuesday to Sunday, Mondays in August and Bank Holiday Mondays.
