In the run-up to this year’s Internet Retailing Expo (IRX 2013), we’re taking a regular look at some of the highlights of the two-day event, to be held on March 20 and 21 at Birmingham’s NEC. Today our focus is on suppliers and their technology.

The Internet Retailing Expo (IRX 2013) is a hotbed of the latest technology. It’s proved, over its three years, a great place for retailers to catch up with some of the newest developments in the field and find those innovations that can help their business stand out before the competition does. This year is set to be no exception, with a series of new launches and demonstrations planned for the event. Today, we’re highlighting some of the products that visitors to the show will be able to catch up with at the more than 150 exhibition stands that will be at the heart of IRX 2013.

Feefo will be at the event, showcasing their online customer feedback tool that helps business owners to gain feedback from their customers, increase PPC click-throughs and overall sales conversion rates.

Visitors are encouraged to take the Easypack challenge at the show. The bespoke packaging solutions provider is asking delegates to bring their most ‘difficult to wrap’ objects to the stand to prove their efficient and cost-effective solution.

NewVoiceMedia will be speaking to visitors about a cloud contact centre solution that integrates with CRMs to provide a unique and personalised experience to their clients’ customers

Being kicked off websites at busy times will soon be a thing of the past thanks to Queue It .Their website overload queuing system allows companies to offload users at peak times into a queue; enhancing the customer experience and retaining potential buyers.

The Bronto Marketing Platform will be introduced at the show which will allow marketers to import past purchase information from any e-commerce platform or in-store delivery system in order to segment data.

Also at the show is Anicca Solutions who will be demonstrating their reporting tool for digital marketing. This brings in data from a variety of places and compares reports without the user having to search.

Bringing a designer edge to the show, Oneworldavenue will be showcasing their cross-border global luxury marketplace to visitors. This online fashion marketplace, selling brands such as chloe, Vivienne Westwood and Ralph Lauren globally, with a focus on customer experience enhancement; allowing buyers to track their purchase at each step of the process.

Retail online marketplace, Bubbles Online , will be launching their ‘search without searching’ function; a proprietary matching engine delivering significantly faster results

City Sprint is looking forward to sharing their new delivery technology at the show, with its new ‘My Time’ delivery solution. Allowing consumers to choose a one-hour delivery time slot, this provides a more convenient and flexible buying option.

Launching a new product at the show, Prism will debut Spectrum CRM, a browser-based order management and processing system and will also be demonstrating their Shop Despatch System which allows retailers to take orders from any channel; allowing distribution either through the warehouse or in-store, using a complex set of rules to streamline orders and ensure the minimum number of shipments.

V2 of the Shutl platform will be showcased at the show which will provide retailers with new functionality and a faster, more streamlined quoting service; providing users with a delivery quote earlier in the sales process, giving a better shopping experience and maximising conversion.
