Bristol Airport has appointed e3 as their digital partner to help shape and support its future online strategy, following a four-way pitch.
• Bristol Airport is the ninth largest airport in the UK and the fifth largest outside London: http://www.bristolairport.co.uk/
• Over 100 destinations in 30 countries are served direct from Bristol.
• The Airport handled 5.9 million passengers in 2012.
• Planning permission is in place for development of facilities to handle 10 million passengers per annum by 2020.
Bristol Airport is the UK’s fifth largest airport outside London and the ninth largest in total.
A total of 5.9 million passengers passed through the terminal in 2012, up 2.8 per cent compared to the previous year, making Bristol the only airport in the UK’s top ten to see growth each year since the end of 2009 (based on Civil Aviation Authority statistics)
e3 will be responsible for the future development of Bristol Airport’s websites, as well as providing strategic leadership to support Bristol Airport’s digital ambitions: to maximise destination awareness and passenger growth opportunities; to drive and increase commercial revenue, and to ensure all digital activity complements the customer service experience and brand over the next three years.
Isabelle Whiteman, Marketing Manager at Bristol Airport said:
“As we enter a new phase of development for Bristol Airport, we were looking for an innovative agency with a clear understanding of the digital landscape. e3 impressed us with their enthusiasm and creative ideas for our vision, along with a high level of planning and strategic intelligence. We are looking forward to working with e3 over the next 3 years to help us cement our reputation as an important regional international passenger airport”.
