iD Experiential creates slackline experience for ASUS in ‘Search for the Incredible’ campaign

In its third consecutive campaign for laptop manufacturer ASUS, experiential marketing agency iD Experiential is activating an interactive slackline experience at Bluewater shopping centre in Kent.

The experience is designed to engage consumers while educating them about the ASUS product range, including the incredible new TaiChi (fusion of notebook and tablet technology).

Slacklining is the art of balancing on a flat line of webbing tensioned between two anchor points. It has now evolved into an extreme sport with several different styles and tricks. To tie in with ASUS’ advertising campaign, www.insearchofincredible.com, iD Experiential has designed the slackline experience to capture “incredible people doing incredible things, with incredible laptops”. The campaign is running until the first week of March.

Expert slackliners will perform each day and coach consumers to try out the experience and give them a chance of winning one of three laptop prizes. Consumers will also get the opportunity to trial the laptops and gain information from highly trained brand ambassadors supplied by iD Experiential’s promotional staffing arm, iD Staffing.

James Coad, Marketing Manager, ASUS, said: “It has been a pleasure to work with iD Experiential once again and I feel like this activation is an evolution of both our above-the-line and previous experiential campaigns. We are looking forward to the activity at Bluewater and hope consumers enjoy the slackline experience and the opportunity to get up close and personal with our incredible laptops.”

Zaine Venter, Senior Account Director, iD Experiential, commented: “We really loved the ad campaign and could see that it would make a great experiential activation; helping to amplify the brand’s ‘incredible’ positioning and giving consumers a chance to truly interact with ASUS. We are positive this campaign will continue the success we have had with ASUS over the past couple of years.”
