Audi UK has appointed Salmon as its new strategic digital and web partner.

The main brief is to work with the premium car brand’s in-house team to develop and implement new digital strategies focusing on the management of its website.

The appointment, made after Audi conducted its overall strategic review for 2013, will see Salmon assist Audi in creating digital marketing solutions across a variety of platforms including the hugely successful audi.co.uk website, which has over one million unique visitors per month.

Hugh Fletcher, National Digital Manager for Audi UK, explains: “The exciting partnership with Salmon will help place the brand at the forefront of digital marketing.  The agency’s experience and expertise in e-commerce, both in terms of creative front-end solutions and outstanding technical expertise, will help us achieve our goal of giving Audi customers the online experience they want and deserve in this constantly evolving digital world.”

Royal Demeure, the Italian luxury hotel group, has appointed travel consultancy Brighter Group as its UK PR agency following a competitive pitch.

Royal Demeure Hotel Group boasts a collection of historic properties in some of Italy’s most beautiful cities, including Rome, Florence, Siena and Vicenza. Housed in carefully restored palazzos, the collection currently comprises six hotels, one of the most prestigious and well-known properties being the Hotel d’Inghilterra in Rome.

A new Belgravia Head Office has also been established to support Royal Demeure’s brand development, future growth  and increased profile within the international market. The company’s investment demonstrates their renewed focus on its collection of historic hotels, which have recently been refurbished, and its anticipated increase in international visitors.

Platinum Property Partners in Bournemouth, Dorset, have brought in two recruits to help build their marketing team.

Paul Hughes joins as Marketing Project Manager and Louise Blackwell joins as Marketing Communications Executive. This brings the marketing team to six.

Hughes said: “I will be helping Platinum Property Partners to make better use of social media, take advantage of online metrics to improve campaign effectiveness and deliver a mobile-friendly website. I will also be using my project management experience to help improve the way we work as a team to deliver campaigns.” He joins from Bournemouth University where he was Digital Experience Lead.

Blackwell said: “I will be focusing on raising awareness of Platinum Property Partners in the media, writing marketing copy, managing video and photography projects and facilitating robust communications within the company.” She joins from Lewis-Manning Hospice where she was Communications Officer.
