Marketing Nuggets : Fox Kalomaski Crossing, MyFerryLink, TCS Media, IRX 2013, Owned it, Viewster Media

Fox Kalomaski Crossing, the integrated creative marketing communications company, has been appointed by MyFerryLink, the new cross-channel ferry service operating from Dover to Calais.

Targetting motorists intending to drive to France, a wide-ranging campaign is being launched comprising digital, national press, radio and direct response advertising, supported by exhibitions and ITV weather sponsorship. Media buying is by TCS Media.

The campaign proposition builds on the fact that MyFerryLink is owned by the crew who work for it, enabling the strapline ‘You’ll love my company’.

Owned it is exhibiting for the first time at Internet Retailing Expo and is launching its updated suite of apps on stand P15.

Unlike competitors, Owned it offers affordable one-stop campaign creation to drive sales, increase referrals, promote offers, improve social follower base and conversions.

Owned it is a marketing automation platform which helps online retailers to run various social, referral and customer engagement campaigns. These campaigns help retailers to gain customer insight and unique social rich data which can be used to attract new customers.

Viewster Media, a leading subscription-free service offering ‘on demand’ movies and TV series for free or a small fee, has been named as a Top 20 Online Video Property in the UK for the first time, according to comScore, a leader in measuring the digital world.

The comScore Video Metrix for February 2013 places Viewster Media at number 20 in its Top 20 list, with 3.7 million UK viewers watching more than 50 million films or TV shows using Viewster’s subscription-free network of sites and syndication partners. This puts Viewster Media above a host of popular video sites including Daily Motion – the world’s second largest video-sharing website – which entertained 3.5 million viewers in the UK last month.
