More Marketing Nuggets : TheDogsDoodahs.com, Rightster, Brooks Brothers, eCommera, Space City

Brooks Brothers, the oldest apparel clothier in the US, will adopt eCommera’s unique decision intelligence tool, DynamicAction™.  Designed to turn big retail data into prioritised actions, DynamicAction integrates siloed data into a commerce-specific cloud solution which will allow Brooks Brothers to identify optimisation opportunities to improve its overall online commerce performance.

Brooks Brothers currently operates over 300 stores around the world as well as a dynamic ecommerce site.  eCommera’s DynamicAction tool will enable the brand to ascertain the economic value of specific projects to justify future IT investment, as well as drill down into micro activity such as evaluating return on marketing spend.

Ken Seiff, Executive Vice President, Direct and Omni-channel at Brooks Brothers, said: “Online merchandising optimisation requires hundreds if not thousands of decisions every day.  And often even the simple act of identifying all of these opportunities is extremely challenging.  eCommera’s DynamicAction product is thoughtfully designed to highlight these decisions and make them actionable.”

TheDogsDoodahs.com (challenger brand to Moonpig in the personalised cards sector) has launched a long-term, ten second television commercial.  The advert, produced by Space City, is based on an in-house retro concept highlighting the humour favoured by the brand.

The advert will be broadcast regionally through March and April, with the company expecting to continue television advertising throughout 2013.  National tests with 30-second adverts were completed through the Valentine’s Day season.
