EQ8, the natural energy drink, appointed London agency Biles Inc to refresh its packaging design as part of the launchof a new and improved recipe formulation.Backed by Malaysian entrepreneur Tony Fernandes (owner of QPR Football Club, Caterham F1 Team and CEO of AirAsia), EQ8 is a natural fruit juice based energy drink, which provides a natural energy lift, and contains one of your fivea day.

The range consists of two flavours EQ8 Orange & Passion Fruit; and EQ8 Cranberry & Apple available in 250mlcans.

Brandinc – the UK branding consultancy – has announced a 40% increase in sales, with a gross profit of 10%, over the past 12 months.

While many marketing services companies have been cutting back in recent years, Brandinc has continued to invest in its future and has now established itself as a global force in branded promotional products.

After building on its European base by establishing full-service offices and regional distribution hubs in Sydney, Hong Kong, Singapore and Los Angeles in 2012, Brandinc now plans to expand deeper into the US market in 2013.

Global social media agency We Are Social (http://wearesocial.net) has made a slew of significant senior hires and promotions following a year of impressive growth, bringing the agency’s headcount to 300 worldwide and over 100 in its London headquarters.

The appointments include Stephen Rust, who joins the agency as global chief operating officer. Rust will be responsible for driving We Are Social’s growth globally, as well as building a team and infrastructure to support the agency’s continued expansion plans. He was previously Group CFO at The Search Works and subsequently, Group CEO at i-level.

The agency has also promoted senior account directors Aisling McCarthy and Clem Hancox to group account director. McCarthy manages We Are Social’s biggest client, adidas, while Hancox oversees the agency’s largest account portfolio, which includes PG tips and Heinz.
