Tesco has selected LivingSocial, the local online marketplace to discover and share great experiences in your local area, as their latest Clubcard partner.
Tesco Clubcard customers around the UK will now be able to earn one point for every pound they spend on local experiences, products and services on LivingSocial. Clubcard holders can start collecting points on LivingSocial experiences here.
The move follows a pilot scheme in Sheffield in 2012, which allowed Clubcard holders to purchase £15 of LivingSocial Deal Pounds for just £7.50; effectively doubling the value of the Clubcard vouchers.
LivingSocial offers shoppers the chance to enjoy great value local experiences and services at great value whilst also helping people to rediscover their local area and sample something new on their doorstep.
Peter Briffett, Managing Director of LivingSocial UK and Ireland, said: “LivingSocial is committed to sourcing and providing exciting activities across the UK, and is delighted to be partnering with Tesco to help customers collect Clubcard points whilst having fun through LivingSocial offers.
As the premier loyalty scheme in the UK, with a strong commitment to supporting local enterprise, Tesco Clubcard is a perfect partner for us. “
