The Share Centre / Conversion rate has increased from 9% last year to 36%

The Share Centre, one of the UK’s most trusted and well known stockbrokers, has unveiled its new website. Designed and developed by creative engagement agency Rufus Leonard, the site – www.share.com, has been created to improve marketing effectiveness while better reflecting The Share Centre’s brand promise of a “simply easier” customer experience.

To meet The Share Centre’s objectives, Rufus Leonard completely overhauled the site. The navigation was simplified and the entire user experience augmented to reflect The Share Centre’s reputation for plain speaking, fair value and rated customer service.

The new site, which has a sleek and understated design, is underpinned by a new suite of technologies that give The Share Centre’s marketing department more control of the online experience.

In addition to providing added control, the new technology suite will enable The Share Centre to monitor how the site is performing and change it quickly. This will help them to ensure the site is optimised to attract and convert new customers whilst retaining and engaging existing customers – from those that are new to online investing to professional traders.

With the new site in place the conversion rate has increased from 9% last year to 36% giving them the best year in the company’s history.

Phil Hammett, Digital Marketing Manager for The Share Centre says: “We are extremely excited about the transformation of our website. Rufus Leonard have been a great partner to us throughout the process producing a high quality solution, and adding value at every stage. We are confident that our new site will lead to improved marketing performance and a massively enhanced customer experience.”

Peter Barker, Director of Technology for Rufus Leonard says: “This has been a fantastic project to work on and we are already seeing the benefits that it brings to The Share Centre, both from the customer’s and business’s point of view”.
