HP Sauce UK is launching a Facebook campaign to support the men’s health charity, Movember

Working with global social media agency, We Are Social, HP Sauce will help raise awareness of the moustache-growing initiative, and encourage its fans to get involved in Movember through four weekly challenges.

Each week in November, HP Sauce will introduce a different task for its fans using a bespoke Facebook app, the HP Sauce Movember Challenge. The challenges include asking fans who have registered to grow a Mo at Movember.com to celebrate their own moustaches by uploading pictures, or organising a ‘Mo Bro’ meet up to compare moustache efforts. Fans can get involved with the activities by uploading photos of themselves completing the challenges.

Each week, HP Sauce and Movember will choose the best moustache-based upload, and the winner will receive a £50 top up to their Movember fundraising account. There are also 500 ‘kick start’ five-pound top ups that will be given away throughout the month to those signing up to the app.

All entries will be amalgamated in a photo gallery on the HP Sauce Facebook page, which will have a search bar feature so people can find out how their friends have joined in with the HP Sauce Movember Challenge.

At the end of the month, an overall winner will be chosen based on all four rounds and given a £500 charitable donation to help with their Movember fundraising efforts. HP Sauce and Movember will also choose runners up, who will be given limited edition Movember-themed products, from t-shirts to cookbooks.

HP Sauce has created regular video content to run alongside the competition, which will be uploaded to its Facebook page to explain each week’s challenge. The HP Sauce Movember Challenge app is currently live for people to register their interest, and round one will be revealed on 1st November.

The HP Sauce Movember Challenge will run alongside HP Sauce’s above-the-line Movember campaign, which includes releasing 2.5 million branded Movember HP Sauce bottles and supporting the cause with bacon sandwiches at charity ‘Mo Runs’ and University campuses across the country.

People already enjoy sharing Movember photos and anecdotes on social media, and we’re giving them the platform to do this more easily, whilst rewarding them for their efforts. ”
