Maths Doctor, the award winning online tutoring service for 7-18 year olds, has begun a six-week marketing campaign aimed at mums to raise awareness of online maths tutoring and capitalise on interest in tutoring at the start of the year.
A series of one 40-second and two 20-second adverts —which highlight the techniques and technologies used by Maths Doctor to help kids conquer maths and build confidence—will air on Magic FM from January the 13th until February half term. In conjunction, Maths Doctor is running a sponsored thread and offering discounted rates on Mumsnet to encourage trial of the one-to-one tutoring service.
Simon Walsh is the founder of Maths Doctor, which was bought by Macmillan Digital Education in 2012. He said of the campaign; “New Year is a time when parents look to tutoring to help boost their children’s confidence. We want to be part of these conversations and encourage them to consider Maths Doctor as an innovative and cost effective alternative to traditional tutoring.
Magic FM, with its coverage of London and the surrounding regions and high percentage of female listeners, is the perfect fit as we specifically target mums. Equally important is Mumsnet as tutoring is a hot topic right now amongst the community.”
The Mumsnet sponsored thread is live now and can be viewed here.
