Retail : Golden Square shopping centre has appointed JAMpr on a three-year contract

Golden Square shopping centre, @GoldenSquareUK Warrington’s premier retail destination, has appointed JAMpr as its retained PR agency @JAM_Manchester to drive positive awareness of the centre’s fashion and dining offering, along with its family-focused events.

JAMpr secured the three-year contract following a three-way pitch and will kick off activity with the launch of GS Collection, a campaign promoting the centre’s wealth of fashion outlets.

The contract will see JAM manage and execute all local and national press office activity, social media, blogger outreach, event management, charity work and stakeholder engagement initiatives to support Golden Square’s new marketing strategy.

The team is tasked with raising the profile of the centre and driving footfall to its 140 outlets, which include Primark, Marks and Spencer, Boots, Debenhams, as well as popular dining establishments such as Costa Coffee, Nandos, ASK Italian and Starbucks.

Golden Square is JAM’s second major win this year and the organisation joins clients such as The Printworks, Transform Cosmetic Surgery, Argos for Business, Carl Kammerling International, my Travel Cash and EHL Ingredients.

JAMpr is shortlisted for the Small PR Agency of the Year in the Prolific North Awards, to be held on Thursday 1st May 2014 and was awarded gold for Outstanding Small Consultancy at CIPR North West PRide awards in November 2013.
