The Commercial Director role will see Nick manage and lead the entire eBay team including sales, account management and advertising operations.
Neil Higgins is also promoted from Head of Sales to Sales Director. Neil is now responsible for ad2one’s sales strategy and leading the digital advertising and sponsorship teams across all digital platforms that deliver revenues on behalf of some of the world’s biggest brands, including BT.com, BT Sport, PlayStation, Currys, PC World, Transport for London and more. In this new role, he oversees the ad2one Direct, ad2one Audience and ad2one Premium Marketplace commercial teams whist working across the publisher recruitment strategy.
In his previous role, Neil specialised in leading the direct sales team and looking at ways of maximising revenue for publishers across web, mobile and video.
Grant Allaway, Group MD, ad2one, says: “These appointments come at a hugely exciting time for our business as we continue to strengthen our premium sales service for publishers across the digital landscape.
They underline our continued investment in best-in-class digital sales talent, coupled with the very latest advertising technology as seen through our launch of the premium marketplace service which is enabling a premium approach to programmatic to be integrated into our sales campaigns in a powerful way. I am very much looking forward to working with both Nick and Neil as we deliver the very best sales service to our premium brand clients and agency partners.”
Last month, ad2one announced the launch of its Premium Marketplace, powered by AppNexus, offering buyers programmatic access to trusted premium inventory with engaging and highly relevant audiences. Over fifty household brands including Currys, PC World, Jamie Oliver, Square Meal, Delia Online, LastMinute.com and TfL will feature digital inventory in the new marketplace.
