AOL announces the appointment of Alex Macnamara as Multinational Head of Agency Sales.
He will be responsible for driving growth opportunities and new revenues across the multinational sales team based in London. Macnamara joins from Tremor Video where he has held the position of UK Managing Director since 2013.
Macnamara returns to AOL having previously worked with the company as an Agency Sales Manager for five years up to 2005. In this newly created role, Macnamara will lead a team of international sellers to deliver increased revenue across global agency groups. Additionally, he will nurture existing clients and drive organic growth in sync with AOL’s full suite of media and platform offerings. Based in London, Macnamara will report directly to Georgia Giannattasio, Head of Multinational, AOL.
In this current role at Tremor Video, Macnamara has been responsible for the development of the UK business and oversaw a period of significant revenue growth. He joined the business in 2011 as a Sales Director before taking on the role of Commercial Director.

The Aspiration Group has appointed Silverstone’s former head of sales, Amanda Macchi, to the role of group sales and marketing director
Macchi, had been with Silverstone Circuits for nearly two years, and brings with her considerable experience of the MICE sector.
She was previously director of sales at De Vere Hotels and also director of sales and marketing at four-time Ryder Cup venue, The Belfry.
She is a fellow of the Institute of Hospitality and of the Institute of Sales & Marketing Management and is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
The fluent French-speaker’s new role will see her reunited with her former Belfry colleague Aspiration Group CEO Simon Wordsworth, and she will take on responsibility for heading up the company’s sales and marketing activities..
New nugg.ad CEO Martin Hubert takes over the management of the target group specialist on May 1st, 2015.
Prior to this, Hubert was Managing Director at Ströer Digital Group.
He will take care of the expansion of sales, especially internationally, and will further develop the company’s product portfolio in terms of Data Management.
The former CEOs Karim H. Attia and Stephan Noller will remain as advisers for the company.
