Watch : Leaked Westminster power battle

Top personalities from the main political parties have been secretly filmed letting off some steam away from the campaign trail in a karaoke rap battle, in fake mobile phone footage obtained by EE.

The 90 second clip shows leaders battling it out on the mic in an oak panelled room off Whitehall to ‘The Power’ by Snap!. The video shows what appears to be some of Westminster’s top bods dressed in their campaign best letting off steam ahead of the big day

But there is also an important message hidden in the video that the United Kingdom needs to be aware of…Power Bars are back on June 24th

Spencer McHugh, Director of Brand at EE, said: “The election is all consuming and I’m sure our political leaders are feeling the strain.  We decided to imagine how they might let off steam behind the scenes and of course remind customers how they can get the power!”

The spoof video has been filmed by EE with lookalikes of the main parties to celebrate the recent launch of EE Power, which saw one million requests for Power Bars in just four days after it launched last month.  The next delivery of EE Power Bars will be available to customers from June 24th.

The digital ad was developed by EE’s advertising agency, Saatchi & Saatchi London.
