iRiS Software Systems, the leading provider of guest-facing technology, has announced its collaboration with Fiz, the innovative travel content platform, to integrate Fiz content to the iRiS Valet family of products.
iRiS Valet is a user-friendly guest-facing solution that allows hotel guests to interact with all of the hotel’s services and facilities in their preferred language. From in-room dining to room controls, from restaurant bookings to cleaning requests, guests can easily access each of the hotel’s amenities.
Wishing to offer guests the most dynamic and richest insight possible, the iRiS Valet family of applications will now also be a real-time aggregator and curator of the best things to do in the specific local area, to get away from static content and dive into a new world of local curated content.
Hotels that have deployed iRiS Guest, Mobile or Web Valet in their properties can now choose the content they want to display on their application from some 30,000 global points of interest which have received Fiz’s direct seal of approval, including attractions, landmarks, theatres, restaurants, and other leisure hotspots. By aggregating quality data, Fiz provides the factual and practical information on a place – such as opening times, exact location and visitor information, then combines it with crowd-sourced social, image and review content to create a vibrant and real-time ‘digital footprint’ of the location. Fiz’s data is opened to the hotels so they can add new places and more of their own content, creating a truly unique and customized experience for their guests.
