PSONA Group, recently formed by marketing services group Communisis, has appointed former VCCPme creative partner, Jamie Bell as executive creative director.

He will work across the Group’s three agencies: PSONA, PSONA Films and PSONA Social, with a remit to raise the creative bar across the full suite of clients and attract new business.

As creative partner at VCCPme Bell’s work included CRM and social for Kia, vendor relationship management  for Channel 4, brand campaigns for Southern and South Eastern Trains, direct and social for MoreTh>n, as well as digital work for Three Barrels.

Legendary Steve Harrison

Bell is an award-winning creative who started his career at WCRS followed by roles at some of the most iconic agencies of their time, including M&C Saatchi, Burkitt DDB, Grey London and HTW where he learnt to live the media agnostic dream under the expert eye of legendary Steve Harrison. In 2008 he landed the top creative job at CMW (now Stack), building his digital and social media credentials for clients including Citroen, Cadbury, Kellogg’s and McCain.

Bell has judged the Campaign Big Awards since 2011 as well as the D&ADs, Cannes Lions and the DMA Awards. He has also won a number of awards including most recently a Sports Advertising Award and Digital Sponsorship Award for Nivea For Men and a gold B2B Marketing Award for his Samsung work.

Bell will report to PSONA Group CEO Malcolm Cotton.

 

Device connectivity and business intelligence leader Tweakker, part of Spirent Communications Device Intelligence business unit, today announces the appointment of Jacob Barlebo as vice president Sales.

In this role, Barlebo will be responsible for managing Tweakker’s global sales teams, new business and partner development, and marketing.

Dennis Juul Poulsen, general manager of Tweakker, comments, “We welcome Jacob Barlebo to Tweakker’s senior management team. Barlebo began his career as a business development manager with DHL Worldwide Express.  After a decade of business management experience with this fast moving blue chip, he moved to online recruitment firm StepStone to manage field sales and key accounts.

Internet of Things

The year 2002 saw Barlebo begin his communications career becoming country manager, Denmark and Finland, for Genesys Conferencing. Five years on, in  2007 Barlebo began his IT career with his appointment as sales manager, Denmark and Norway, for IT security and systems management firm NetIQ. Subsequent to a highly successful period with this firm, he joined IT security and consulting firm FortConsult as international business development manager.

Flagship campaigns

Prior to joining Racepoint, Kellie was Head of PR and Communications at Goode International, where she led integrated, content and media campaigns for clients including Tencent, Dell, AVEVA, DataStax and Arrow, and worked extensively with digital transformation specialists and tech hubs.  Previous to Goode, Kellie was Associate Director at AxiCom, where she led flagship campaigns for Samsung and Citrix and helped develop the agency’s EMEA network.
