Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 : Affectv, MobileWebAdz, BlisMedia, digital box, InSkin Media, Infectious Media

Alex Burmaster writes …In the latest annual Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 I was interested to note the inclusion of the 6″ad-tech” co’s below – those whose technology helps marketers advertise more effectively online. The league table ranks Britain’s 100 private tech co’s with the fastest-growing sales over the last 3 years.

Affectv (#11) was founded by Glen Calvert when he was just 29. Calvert says: “When marketers were asked to prioritise one capability most important to marketing in the future, an Adobe study showed “personalisation” topped the list. Our inclusion is further proof that personalised advertising is taking up a bigger share of consideration and budgets across some of the biggest advertisers in the UK.”

• MobileWebAdz (#47) – mobile ad network • BlisMedia (#54) – mobile location and behavioural advertising • digitalbox (#68) – performance/content marketing technology platform

• InSkin Media (#88) – specialises in high-impact, non-intrusive online advertising formats. ISM’s CEO is Hugo Drayton, formerly CEO of behavioural targeter Phorm, and Group MD of The Telegraph. He planned and launched Electronic Telegraph, the UK’s first online newspaper Drayton says: “InSkin Media’s progress and growth has been rewarded by our return to the prestigious Tech Track 100. In an increasingly automated ad world, ISM’s impactful, creative approach, and commitment to quality and service is a winning formula.”

• Infectious Media (#95) – programmatic media specialists
