  • Dove Men+Care has launched a new film ahead of the RBS 6 Nations to celebrate the renewal of their partnerships with England Rugby, Irish Rugby, Scottish Rugby and the Welsh Rugby Union.
  • The brand will extend their successful #SCRUMTOGETHER campaign through the new season as they cement their support of the game in the home territories.
  • The brand will continue to provide each team with anti-perspirants, shower gels and face products and allow consumers the chance to win tickets and other experiences through in-store promotions and across @DoveMen, the brand’s social media channel.

To celebrate the renewal of their partnerships with the four home unions, Dove Men+Care, Unilever’s leading male skincare brand, has today launched a new film featuring Anthony Watson (England), Conor Murray (Ireland), Dan Biggar (Wales) and Greig Laidlaw (Scotland). From the snowy Brecon Beacons to the North Berwick coastline, we watch these players as they become faster, stronger and more powerful through the unwavering and mutual support of their teammates. The film articulates all that #SCRUMTOGETHER means and reinforces Dove Men+Care’s primary message that ‘Care Makes a Man Stronger’.

Nation specific iterations of the film will also be released for fans of England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales as Dove Men+Care reaffirm their commitment to rugby union following five years of activation which recently included a successful campaign across Rugby World Cup 2015 as an Official Tournament Supplier. As before, the deals will see the brand hold exclusive rights to provide the top players from across these nations with anti-perspirants, shower gels and face products.

Callum Galloway, Brand Manager of Dove Men+Care, said “Dove Men+Care has demonstrated its commitment to rugby over a number of years, and we’re delighted to be continuing our support of the home nations ahead of what is a hugely anticipated RBS 6 Nations.

Examples of strength and care, often seen through teamwork both on and off the rugby field, align brilliantly with our brand, and we are excited to be launching our 2016 campaign via a new film which celebrates exactly that.”

In addition to the online release of the film via @DoveMen, the brand has secured a Waterloo takeover for the duration of the RBS 6 Nations, which will showcase the content and campaign imagery across multiple sites throughout the station.  Dove Men+Care also kicks off a year long partnership with The Times Newspaper today as they launch an online hub and look to explore standout moments of teamwork through interviews with the likes of Ireland’s Conor Murray, Wales’ George North, and England stars Courtney Lawes and Jamie George.

Dove Men+Care will also be giving local clubs across each of the four nations a chance to have their match days supercharged by the aforementioned players as they are joined by Anthony Watson for a pre-match warm up, Greig Laidlaw for a half-time team talk, or Dan Biggar and Connor Murray for post-match analysis in the club-house bar!

On Twitter, followers of @DoveMen can look forward to a ticket giveaway every Thursday, a wealth of exclusive content from player previews to personal insights and magic vines. All the activity will be anchored by a consistent #SCRUMTOGETHER strapline.
