A Place for Creation, the innovative new inspiration resource for creatives everywhere, is launching an exciting new Members Hub, packed with exclusive content that will help those within the creative sector to ignite their passion, whatever it may be.
The site is already an expanding news, media, social and coaching platform with a deep-rooted passion for helping creatives soar – and the brand new Members Hub will house an impressive range of content to help creatives to stay inspired and keep their imaginative minds whirring.
Founder Gemma Louise Kimpton, a creative herself, initially founded the site in order to help like minded people get out of the creative ruts it can be easy to get stuck in.
She says, “I have had my own struggles with maintaining peak creativity, and eventually I realised that this was something I could work to change, for myself and for others. It’s now my mission to help creatives grow and move forwards, both personally and professionally, with all the tools, resources and advice they need to realise their true creative potential.”
She adds, “The brand new Members Hub will be packed with useful and exclusive content that will help creatives keep that inventive spark alive. Users will be able to connect and collaborate with one another, seek business advice, learn how to develop their services, and of course, stay inspired.”
The creative industry in the UK has blossomed in recent years, with the most up-to-date figures showing that the sector as a whole made an economic contribution of £8.8m per hour in 2013 – growth of 10% year-on-year. The industry accounts for 5.6% of all jobs, and is growing at twice the rate of the wider UK economy. Those working in crafts, design, museums, music, architecture, marketing, TV, film, dance and visual arts are among those contributing record amounts to the UK economy – and A Place for Creation is there to support this rapidly evolving industry.
Not only will the new Members Hub work to promote creativity on every level, it offers members discounts on certain services, including social media marketing, graphic design services, art supplies and more. Professional development courses will also be offered at discounted rates, giving creatives more opportunity than ever before to better themselves and stand out in the growing market.
The site will also house a plethora of useful resources, from downloadable content to help users stay organised, to tasks and tutorials which will help each creative figure out how to maximise their business’ potential. A Place for Creation is set to become the go-to destination for all creatives seeking to improve their services and remain at the top of their creative game.
