PrettyLittleThing pairs with Doddle to offer next day click and collect
By Alison Clements
Fast fashion retailer PrettyLittleThing.com has expanded its range of delivery options with the addition of next day click and collect from Doddle. UK customers will benefit from the ability to order online until 10pm and then collect next day from any of Doddle’s 50 stores.
With Doddle collection stores now represented at train stations, university campuses and shopping centres around the UK, this really adds convenience to PrettyLittleThing’s young fashion-addict customers, who demand ‘the freshest threads straight off the runway’.
There’s a competitive price, with next day delivery to Doddle costing £4.99 for PrettyLittleThing customers, who are also able to return unsuitable orders for free at Doddle. Thanks for changing rooms at some Doddle stores it’s possible to try on items too.
Ben Hulme, PrettyLittleThing Distribution Manager said: “By working with Doddle we can offer our customers greater flexibility and convenience for delivery and returns. Doddle’s stores are handy for our customer base at train stations and universities and the extended trading hours complement our customers’ lifestyles rather than disrupt them.”
Tim Robinson, Doddle CEO said: “Price and speed of delivery along with free returns are the three most important factors we’ve identified from surveying online shoppers. We’re delighted to be partnering with PrettyLittleThing to offer its customers a great service and delivery and returns options that tick all three boxes.”
Fashion retailers already working with Doddle include Coast, Asos, Warehouse, New Look and Oasis.
PrettyLittleThing.com was founded by brothers Umar and Adam Kamani in 2012, and has seen impressively fast growth, thanks to demand for the firm’s attractively priced slinky dresses and playsuits. In 2015 the company said they were shipping 20,000 parcels worldwide each day.

The key to the Manchester-based fashion brand’s success is its ability to identify emerging fashion trends for the stylish young female. Within days an item is up for sale on the website at temptingly affordable prices. Around 80% of the clothing is produced in the UK.
Doddle is a neat match for PrettyLittleThing.com where immediacy is clearly the order of the day. PrettyLittleThing’s customers are all about keeping up with the latest fashion trends and Doddle can help them do this that bit quicker. Doddle is building experience of working to support fashion retailers with heavyweight high street names already onboard. Now that many of Doddle’s stores have on-site changing rooms, PrettyLittleThing customers will be able to try on their purchases – and if they don’t fit items can be returned on the spot.
Returns are likely to be a big issue for this fashion retailer, so this handy way of dealing with unsuitable items swiftly and without the need for a courier pick up, could help ease the cost of returns handling.
