Incentive downtime offering
Butlin’s offers delegates a number of enticing options for incentive trips including a significant downtime offering, something they are increasingly seeking to get away from it all. The Traditional Fairground, with rides including Carousels, Chair-O-Plans and of course, the Dodgems provide the perfect setting for delegates to unwind after a busy day of conferences.
The fairground acts as the perfect tool to enable delegates to take a step back from modern technology and is the ultimate downtime experience. Available for Butlin’s inspired team building, fun breakout sessions or for memorable pre-dinner drinks, the fairground is guaranteed to enchant and bring out the best in the young at heart.
Butlin’s Skegness also offers an opportunity for delegates to enjoy some well-earnt rest and relaxation in the spa after a busy day. Offering an oasis of calm, the facilities focus on the principles of warming, heating and cooling the body to leave delegates feeling rejuvenated, refreshed and revitalised. With bespoke spa treatments and packages available and designed with businesses in mind, event bookers have the opportunity to schedule in a full spa experience, massage, facial, and more for their delegates.

The facilities at Butlin’s are also adapting to the growing incentive market. The M3 Air domes are a brand new range of high performance, beautifully designed and practical temporary event structures which are now available to hire. Whilst traditional inflatable structures are light weight, the new M3 Air domes are suitable for all weather conditions (including winds up to 55 mph) and offer complete flexibility to be used for a wide range of events including conferences, syndicate breakouts, exhibitions and drink receptions – both indoor and outdoor which complements Butlin’s existing event spaces.
Butlin’s investment in the state-of-the-art M3 Air domes comes as part of the company’s continued drive to become a key player in the conference and events industry (by offering appealing, inspiring, spaces when additional room or syndicate areas are required whilst providing the highest of standards of customer service.

The structures can be tailored to suit individual conference and event needs, including bespoke lighting and branding, with options such as direct print and replaceable printed covers readily available. The M3 Air range offer fantastic space flexibility and can be seamlessly joined together, providing wonderful multi room environments. A range of connecting tunnels are also available to add a sleek finish to the event structures, ensuring every delegate’s specific vision and theme can be met to the highest standard.
The first of Butlins’ clients to use the domes on resort was confectionary super brand Wrigley’s, whose 500 delegates were transported into a captivating sensory experience, in a space that was designed to make attendees feel amazed, inspired and moved by what they saw, heard and engaged with. At Butlin’s Minehead, each of the six M3 Air domes were transformed into individual sensory zones (sight, taste, smell, sound, touch and assault on the senses) arranged around a ‘theatre style’ central hub in the large Skyline Pavilion venue space.
