Acxiom® (Nasdaq: ACXM), the data foundation for the world’s best marketers, today announced new global data capabilities that will expand its global data curation and data activation reach through the appointment of three industry executives with more than 50 years combined experience in global data to its Audience Solutions division:
Marc Fanelli, Chandos Quill and Karen Caulfield.
Led by Fanelli, serving as group vice president of Audience Solutions, the Global Data team will drive the expansion of Acxiom’s data capabilities globally and help Acxiom fulfill its mission of making it safe and easy to activate data anywhere by expanding the global data strategy for the company. Serving as vice presidents of global data, Quill and Caulfield are responsible for global data strategy and value proposition development as well as data sales and partnership acceleration.
With the global convergence of technology, identity resolution and data integration for better consumer experiences, the world’s largest brands and agencies are increasingly seeking a centralized approach for curation and activation of data for digital targeting and distribution. Acxiom’s Global Data team’s strategy will build upon the company’s global footprint for people-based data and its leadership position in the ethical use of data, as well as its scaled integration with the adtech ecosystem, enabling the processes needed for these brands and agencies to drive consistent digital targeting across the globe.

Fanelli brings more than 23 years of experience as a database marketing executive and operations leader to Acxiom, most recently as general manager for Merkle’s Global Data Solutions group. There he led a team focused on the development of quantitative-driven data usage strategies for clients, including third-party data procurement, acquisition marketing, global segmentation development and campaign strategy and execution services.
With 16 years of experience in the marketing services industry, Quill most recently worked at Merkle, where she was responsible for building and growing the company’s data syndication and onboarding capabilities to support the digital marketing ecosystem.
She was also responsible for operations and marketing for the company’s Global Data Solutions. Prior to Merkle, Quill held various senior leadership positions at Experian, including roles in marketing and strategic alliances.
Caulfield previously served as a global data solutions leader at Merkle, where she was responsible for managing large-scale global data deployments and ran the company’s global data delivery team. With 17 years of experience in global performance marketing and CRM, Caulfied has also worked at Intuitive Group International (Parago) and ICLP – Global Loyalty Agency, and has significant on-the-ground experience across EMEA, Latin America, Asia Pacific and North America.
