Webtrends, the global leader in digital intelligence, announced today the availability of a new, free app for iPad that places highly relevant marketing analytics and insights, including trending data from websites, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, at users’ fingertips. The first of its kind app, Webtrends Today is available currently via iTunes.
For Webtrends customers, the iPad app is an innovative extension of the company’s industry-leading digital intelligence solutions, placing the power of Webtrends Analytics in the palms of their hands.
However, the iPad app is also a powerful tool for all digital marketers, regardless of whether they are current Webtrends customers or not.
Simply by downloading the app and inputting Facebook, Twitter and YouTube account credentials, all users can enjoy an iPad-optimised, graphically elegant, consolidated view of relevant data from these properties. The data will be current, trending and attractively formatted for sharing within organisations so that marketers can quickly and easily maximise and socialise the powerful marketing insights it delivers.
Digital marketers can measure the engagement of their Facebook communities and individual Facebook pages with easy access to important data, including the number of Likes and conversations, as well as clear graphic visualisations of social impact across demographics and trending comments.
Relevant Twitter influence data is also represented, including current Klout score, number of followers, and number of retweets. Total number of Twitter followers and total number of tweets sent are also displayed.
With the emerging importance of online video, Webtrends has also integrated relevant YouTube data, including total number of views on each YouTube video tracked by the app as well as total channel views. Users can also sort YouTube videos by most recent or most viewed and play any of their tracked videos within the iPad app.
Accesses and integrates data
For current Webtrends customers, the iPad app also accesses and integrates data from the advanced Analytics 10 platform to compare performance metrics and analytics across digital channels including websites, mobile and social properties.
“We developed the new Webtrends Today iPad app with the needs of our customers and modern digital marketers in mind,” said Benjamin Diggles director of digital marketing with Webtrends. “Our customers told us that they were looking for a better, more convenient tool for accessing key digital intelligence data and sharing it.
Our iPad app is specifically designed and optimised to make important digital data beautiful, mobile, meaningful and, most of all, shareable, so that the insights it inspires can reach throughout organisations and make them more successful.”
