Caffè Nero, in partnership with mobile payments and loyalty marketing platform Yoyo, is launching a new Alice in Wonderland-themed “surprise and delight” promotion to instantly reward its app customers with prizes if they find an Easter Egg in-app when they make a purchase over the Easter period.

From Monday 26 March to Sunday 8 April, every time a customer makes a transaction through the Caffè Nero app that includes a hot drink they will be in with a chance to find one of six prize-filled Caffè Nero Easter Eggs – and all these “curiouser and curiouser” customers will have to do is tap it open to find out what they’ve won.

Prizes will include 1000s of bonus Caffè Nero loyalty stamps, as well as free vouchers, which can be redeemed for a variety of Caffè Nero products, including coffees and, of course, chocolate. The Grand Prize will be a year’s worth of coffee for one lucky winner!

Each egg has been created in collaboration with the iconic Victoria & Albert Museum, inspired by an Alice in Wonderland illustration by C.F.A Voysey (1857–1941).

Marcus Denison-Smith, head of marketing at Caffè Nero, said: “No Easter is complete without an egg hunt, so we’ve given our busy customers a fun and easy way to join in the fun this Easter.

Bench launches new report: Disruption, a practical approach to protecting your business and responding to disruptive forces

Bench, the expert consultancy, has launched its latest ‘Ask the Experts’ report, offering practical advice on how organisations can protect themselves and respond to disruption.

Born out of The St Ives Group, Bench helps businesses make better decisions in a world of disruption, working with its clients to identify and apply the right business strategy, processes, people and technology to rapidly drive value and accelerate change at every stage of their transformation or digital journey.

The report sets out the importance of recognising and understanding how your business can be disrupted by various forces, and of developing a considered business strategy to respond both swiftly and appropriately to disruption. Beyond that, it explores the need to understand and align current organisational capabilities with strategic intent and view disruption as an opportunity to be embraced, not feared.
