Work from UK agencies, production companies and brands accounts for 25 finalists in the global ADC 97th Annual Awards, announced today by The One Club for Creativity, the world’s foremost non-profit organization celebrating creative excellence in advertising and design.
Google Creative Labs, London, has three finalists for its own “Speak to Go”, Proud Robinson, Brighton and Mediacom, Dusseldorf with Saatchi & Saatchi London have three finalists for Deutsche Telekom “Magenta Unleashed”, and Magpie Studio has three finalists for Bandido Coffee Co. “Bandido – Disrupting the California Coffee Scene”.
AMVBBDO, London has two finalists for Essity Libresse Bodyform “#BloodNormal” and MPC London with Leo Burnett Chicago and MJZ Los Angeles have two for Samsung “Ostrich”.
One finalists spot each went to & Smith for Liberty London “British Food Range”; Friends Electric and Friends Electric Theater Collective with Adam&EveDDB, London for Friends Electric “Five Go On A Great Western Adventure”; McCann, London, MRM/McCann, London and Craft/McCann, London for Microsoft “Xbox Design Lab Originals: The Fanchise Model”; RAPP UK and Packshot Factory UK for Heist “Whatever You”; and Radley Yeldar, London for Kaspersky Lab “The Data Dollar Store”.
This year’s show has 514 finalists representing 34 countries. The UK’s total is the fifth highest in the world, following the US, Japan, Germany and Canada.
