Every year, an army of digital marketers gather at ad:tech London to do battle for the hearts and minds of attendees. The exhibitor soldiers arrive in their hundreds to erect their rusty strongholds, hoping in vain to entice visitors with predictable patter and 10,000 branded pencil sharpeners.
But a heroic few have the courage to be different.
They confidently cast aside convention and construct stands like no other: castles of enterprise and wisdom, adorned in visual wizardry, which both excite and inform the masses in equal measure. Platforms from which they can share their boundless knowledge and forge relationships that last the test of time.
These are the kings (or queens) amongst men (and women).
But for too long these few have gone unheralded, their genius hidden and their stands uncelebrated. There has come a time for change.
And that time is now.
Propel London presents “Battle of the Stands”: a unique opportunity for the masterminds behind the most innovative, informative and inviting exhibition stands to have their talents recognised, as exhibitors compete for public affection in an attempt to win the prestigious “Best Stand” award (and all of its associated benefits).
All attendees at ad:tech 2012 will have the chance to vote, and all voters will be entered into a raffle with fantastic prizes up for grabs. A live leader board will also be kept on display at the Propel stand, with mini-prizes awarded to contenders at set intervals throughout the event.
In addition to the “Best Stand” trophy, the winners will receive exposure for their stand and their business in established trade magazines, including The Drum, and extensive promotion on the Propel website, Twitter feeds and Facebook page. As an extra reward, Propel will also send a masseuse to the victor’s office for a day to help the battle-hardened warriors wind down after combat.
Registration for the competition is free, and you have nothing to lose but the ability to win.
Arise good men and women of ad:tech: “Battle of the Stands” is about to commence.
