If I was to be chosen to develop a social media strategy for Comet then I’d keep my eyes and ears open for great new social media community solutions like this one…

A good friend of mine, Will Corry, produces a publication called the Marketing Blog so I don’t have to ;) In today’s email. His first story starts Facedeals / “The creepiest thing I’ve ever seen!” …

Will is over 50 and so this is scary to him… but I’m guessing if the system looped back round to the Comet advisors and they were able to say…

“Hello Will… great to see you again… as one of our most frequent visitors, would you care to sit down for a while in our VIP lounge, it’s warm today, perhaps a nice cup of Earl Grey? Come this way…”

Why would Will go elsewhere?

He would then share his experience with his thousands of fans online and sales of whatever he bought would attract the Will Factor and go through the roof… marvellous for all concerned!
