Weeks’ previous roles include Director at Connect Insight Ltd, Head of Commercial Strategy and Operations at Orange, and Research Manager at the Financial Times.

Weeks says: “I’ve joined Microsoft Advertising at one of the most exciting points in its history, especially with the imminent launch of Windows 8 and our product portfolio evolving to offer more premium, richer, larger experiences across all platforms

“At home, work, or on the move, consumers are constantly connected through devices and apps; virtually every facet of life is now enriched by digital technology. Through the likes of Xbox, Skype, MSN and Bing, Microsoft Advertising understands how to reach and engage audiences online, on mobile and in game. Our insights will continue to enable advertisers to deliver the right message to the right person at the right time, wherever they are.”

Hindson added: “Faye’s CV speaks for itself, and her understanding of the media industry and the value of targeting will be a key asset for our business. Her appointment reflects our commitment to using consumer insight to drive platform development, so that we can remain at the forefront of product innovation, and advising clients on creative online campaign planning. It’s great to have her on board, and I look forward to working closely with her during this exciting time for Microsoft.”
