Bubok, the global self-publishing website, has appointed tech and lifestyle shop, amplifier, to manage PR around its launch into the UK.(www.bubok.co.uk)
The new campaign, which kicks off in February 2012 is focused on introducing Bubok (www.bubok.co.uk)and its self-publishing services to the established self-publishing community and potential first-time authors throughout the UK.
Says Paul Spiers, Head of Strategy & Insight, amplifier: “There is a strong and well-established self-publishing community in the UK and the aim is to build awareness of Bubok’s brand and services among this group and also create a momentum and interest among the wider community, to encourage those who have always believed they have a book in them to get out there and get it published. This campaign brings together the expertise of our tech and lifestyle divisions and we’re very excited about rolling it out over the coming months.”
Says Justine Petrenko, Head of Internationalisation, Bubok Publishing: “In amplifier, we have found a PR agency that is as enthusiastic about Bubok and our services as we are, and is able to provide real strategic advice and consultancy. We know we are in good hands and can´t wait to see the impact amplifier and Bubok will create together in the UK.”
Bubok offers a risk-free way for the budding self-publisher to publish hard copy or e-books via www.bubok.co.uk . No print or production fees are charged upfront, Bubok simply takes a percentage of the cover price once the book is sold.
