News from Greenwich Design, IKO, Label PR, Jessy Inglis, AudienceRate, Tekka Date

IKO PLC, the UKs market leader in roofing and waterproofing systems, is launching a unique felt roof repair kit product to the DIY market. Greenwich Design, part of the Greenwich Design Group, created the branding and packaging for the IKOpro Emergency Felt Roof Repair Kit which provides an economical, quick and easy solution to repairing damaged roofs in a self contained pack.

The current alternative for damaged roofing usually results in consumers having to purchase expensive rolls of felt or to re-roof entirely. Greenwich Design were briefed to design a simple and effective pack that would be appealing to those looking for an emergency roofing solution and would encourage even the most novice of DIY enthusiasts that making repairs to a felt roof can be quick, simple and convenient.

Greenwich Design created a compact, self-sealing pack – in a similar style to a bicycle puncture repair kit – which neatly encases all of the items required for a quick roofing fix against the elements, while ensuring waterproofing and weather protection remains intact. The bold orange and black colours in the branding and packaging design were used to create instant awareness, with a large text font in red and black highlighting the ‘emergency’ solution and making clear exactly what the repair kit offers. The large IKOpro logo is instantly recognisable, helping build trust in the new product through IKO’s association with quality roofing systems.
